Charleston, SC

March 2017

Charleston has been on my bucket list since I was a child. So when I found myself in town for work, I hit the streets to explore the city. This gem of South Carolina did not disappoint and was surpassed in beauty only by the delectable cuisine. There simply wasn’t enough time to enjoy it all!

There’s nothing better than exploring a new city, finding beauty and adventure around every corner. When visiting Charleston, don’t miss finding some artisanal treasures at the Charleston City Market or strolling along the Battery and White Point Garden.

If you’re looking for some restaurant recommendations, check out the biscuits with sausage gravy at the Hominy Grill. While you’re there make sure to buy a jar of the Southern Keep jam to take home. The Blueberry Vanilla jam is divine!

Stop by the Fuel Cantina and dine outside with a glass of homemade Sangria. I’m very picky about my Sangria, but their’s was fantastic! As were the Braised Pork Tacos.

If you can’t go anywhere else, stop by Minero – the tacos are well worth it! They are priced so you can pick and choose your favorites to make your own sampler platter.

Until then, I’m sharing a few of my favorite photos from the streets. Enjoy!
